Despite the need to improve survival rates of dialysis patients and the acknowledged survival benefit that HDF offers, there is limited utilization of HDF in some countries. In this presentation, a value-based case for HDF from the patient, provider, and payor perspectives will be presented and potential barriers to greater utilization of HDF will be considered.
